Das Gebiet der Heidestraße in Berlin war jahrzehntelang ein „Niemandsland“ zwischen Ost und West. Früher eher Brachland, geprägt durch die Berliner Mauer einen Containerbahnhof und Lagerhallen, ist es heute eines der zentralen Zukunftsgebiete der Stadt: Die Europacity.
Die vielen Baukräne lassen es schon von weitem erkennen – hier tut sich etwas! 61 Hektar umfasst das gesamte Bauareal. Das entspricht der Größe von etwa 85 Fußballfeldern. Mitten in Berlin und fußläufig zum Hauptbahnhof. Das Gebiet zählt aufgrund seiner herausragenden zentralen Lage zu einem der spannendsten Stadtentwicklungsgebiete in Europa.
Rund 3.000 Wohnungen entstehen hier, rund 16.500 Menschen werden in der Europacity arbeiten. Verbunden mit den angrenzenden gewachsenen Wohnkiezen entsteht eine Welt, die alle Facetten städtischen Lebens umfasst. Ziel der Planer ist die Erschaffung eines urbanen Lebens- und Wohngefühls. Ein Raum zum Leben und Arbeiten mit Services und Dienstleistungen. Diese neue Berliner Mischung wird sich durch attraktive Architektur, Wohnungen mit Wasserblick, grüne Stadtplätze und Uferpromenaden auszeichnen.
Den ersten Kontakt zu unserem neuen Zahnarztpraxis Projekt hatten wir bereits Anfang 2018. Zu dieser Zeit war es noch undenkbar im Bereich der Heidestraße einen Zahnarzt, geschweige denn eine große Zahnarztpraxis oder ein Zahnzentrum zu bauen. Alle alten Gebäude waren abgerissen und von den neuen waren – wenn überhaupt – nur die Baugruben zu sehen. Auch mit viel Fantasie musste man anerkennen, dass es noch dauern würde, bis hier erkennbar das Leben einziehen würde.
Das änderte sich im Sommer 2019. Die Struktur der Europacity war erkennbar, die ersten Gebäude fertiggestellt und Mieter eingezogen. Noch viel wichtiger: die passende Fläche war noch frei! Nach einigen Überlegungen und Vorplanungen haben wir bei einer weiteren Besichtigung den Entschluss gefasst und den Startschuss gegeben: Wir gründen das BERLIN SMILE ZAHNZENTRUM in der Europacity in Berlin Mitte.
Die Nähe zum Hauptbahnhof, die gute Verkehrsanbindung durch den Tiergartentunnel zum Potsdamer Platz und nach Charlottenburg, die Nähe zu den Stadtteilen Wedding und Moabit, die Entwicklung eines neuen Bezirks – all dies waren Kriterien für diese Standort Entscheidung.
